Al-Aadeyaat
The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
By (the horses) that charge snorting, 1 And the producers of sparks [when] striking 2 And raiding at dawn 3 And therein raising dust. 4 And penetrate forthwith into the midst (of the foe) en masse;- 5 Most surely man is ungrateful to his Lord. 6 And is himself witness to it, 7 And indeed he is, in love of wealth, intense. 8 ۞ Is he not aware of the time when the contents of the graves will be brought out? 9 And that which is (locked up) in (human) breasts is made manifest- 10 That their Lord had been Well-acquainted with them, (even to) that Day? 11
Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
