Al-Aadeyaat
The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
By (the horses) that charge snorting, 1 Then those striking sparks of fire, 2 And scouring to the raid at dawn 3 raising a trail of dust, 4 Cleaving, as one, the centre (of the foe), 5 Truly man is, to his Lord, ungrateful; 6 And verily to that he is witness. 7 And is intractable in his love of worldly goods. 8 ۞ Knows he not that when the contents of the graves are brought out and poured forth (all mankind is resurrected). 9 And the secrets of the breasts are made known, 10 Most surely their Lord that day shall be fully aware of them. 11
Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
