And certainly the warning came to Firon's people. 41 They cried lies to Our signs, all of them, so We seized them with the seizing of One mighty, omnipotent. 42 Are you disbelievers mightier than those of the nations which We destroyed before or have you received amnesty through the ancient Scriptures? 43 Or do they say, "We are an assembly supporting [each other]"? 44 Soon will their multitude be put to flight, and they will show their backs. 45 But the Hour is their appointment [for due punishment], and the Hour is more disastrous and more bitter. 46 The evil-doers are indeed sunk in error and folly -- 47 On the Day when they are dragged on their faces into the Fire, (it will be said to them): 'Taste the touch of the Scorching' 48 We have created everything in due measure; 49 Our commandment is but one word, as the twinkling of an eye. 50 And (oft) in the past, have We destroyed gangs like unto you: then is there any that will receive admonition? 51 And every thing they did is in the scriptures, 52 And everything small and great is written down. 53 Surely those who shun disobedience will dwell amidst Gardens and running streams 54 where they will be honourably seated in the presence of a King, Mighty in Power. 55
