The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
Oh, the chargers that run panting, 1 Striking sparks of fire 2 then raid by the dawn, 3 And raise the dust in clouds the while, 4 which engulfs the enemy. 5 Indeed, the human is ungrateful to his Lord. 6 To this he himself shall bear witness. 7 And lo! in the love of wealth he is violent. 8 ۞ Knoweth he not - when that which is in the graves shall be ransacked? 9 And that which is in the breasts (of men) shall be made known. 10 That their Lord had been Well-acquainted with them, (even to) that Day? 11
God Almighty has spoken the truth.
End of Surah: The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat). Sent down in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)
