Al-Hummazah

The Backbiter (Al-Hummazah)

9 verses, revealed in Mecca after Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah) before Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)

In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful

Ruin is for every open slanderer, backbiter. 1 Who hath gathered wealth (of this world) and arranged it. 2 He thinks that his wealth will make him last forever! 3 Never! He will certainly be thrown into the Crushing One. 4 And what will explain to thee That which Breaks to Pieces? 5 The fire of Allah, that is ablaze. 6 the Fire that shall rise to the hearts (of criminals). 7 verily, it will close in upon them 8 In extended columns. 9

Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
