۞ Hast thou not seen those who gave the grace of Allah in exchange for thanklessness and led their people down to the Abode of Loss, 28 They will suffer in Hell. What a terrible place to stay! 29 For, they claimed that there are powers that could rival God, and so they strayed from His path. Say: "Enjoy yourselves [in this world,] but, verily, the fire will be your journey's end!" 30 Tell My believing servants to be steadfast in prayer and to spend for the cause of their Lord, both in private and in public, out of what We have given them. Let them do this before the coming of the day when there will be no merchandising or friendship. 31 It is God who created the heavens and the earth, and sent down out of heaven water wherewith He brought forth fruits to be your sustenance. And He subjected to you the ships to run upon the sea at His commandment; and He subjected to you the rivers 32 He has also subjected to you the sun and the moon, both steadfastly pursuing their courses. He has subjected to you the night as well as the day; 33 He gave you whatsoever you asked. If you try to count the favours of God you will not be able to calculate. Man is most unjust indeed, full of ingratitude. 34
