Al-Hijjr 2 of 6

And We have placed within the heaven great stars and have beautified it for the observers. 16 and guarded them from every accursed Satan 17 so that anyone who seeks to learn [the unknowable] by stealth is pursued by a flame clear to see. 18 And the earth-- We have spread it forth and made in it firm mountains and caused to grow in it of every suitable thing. 19 And We have provided therein means of subsistence,- for you and for those for whose sustenance ye are not responsible. 20 And there is not a thing but its (sources and) treasures (inexhaustible) are with Us; but We only send down thereof in due and ascertainable measures. 21 We send the winds fertilizing, and We send down out of heaven water, from which you drink and you are not its treasurers. 22 And surely, it is We who give life and make to die. We are the Inheritor. 23 We know the ones of you who press forward, and We know the laggards; 24 Lo! thy Lord will gather them together. Lo! He is Wise, Aware. 25
