When We substitute one revelation for another,- and Allah knows best what He reveals (in stages),- they say, "Thou art but a forger": but most of them understand not. 101 Say, "The Holy Spirit has brought it down as truth from your Lord, so that He may strengthen those who believe, and also as guidance and as good tidings for those who submit." 102 And assuredly We know that they say: it is only a human being who teacheth him. The speech of him unto whom they incline is foreign while this is Arabic speech plain. 103 Those who disbelieve in the verses of Allah, Allah does not guide them for them is a painful punishment. 104 Only those who do not believe in Allah’s signs attribute lies and fabrications; and they themselves are liars. 105 Whoever disbelieved in Allah after his belief, except him who is forced thereto and whose heart is at rest with Faith but such as open their breasts to disbelief, on them is wrath from Allah, and theirs will be a great torment. 106 That is because they loved and preferred the life of this world over that of the Hereafter. And Allah guides not the people who disbelieve. 107 Those -- God has set a seal on their hearts, and their hearing, and their eyes, and those -- they are the heedless ones; 108 Assuredly, it is they, in the Hereafter, who will be the losers. 109 ۞ And surely your Lord will be Most Forgiving and Most Merciful towards those who left their homes after they were persecuted, and who thereafter struggled hard and remained constant. 110
