[O MEN! Pay heed to God's messages,] for it is He who has endowed you with hearing, and sight, and minds: [yet] how seldom are you grateful! 78 And He it is Who hath sown you broadcast in the earth, and unto Him ye will be gathered. 79 And it is He Who gives life and causes death, and His is the alternation of night and day. Will you not then understand? 80 Nay, but they say the like of that which said the men of old; 81 They say: What! When we are dead and become dust and bones, shall we then be raised? 82 "Verily, this we have been promised, we and our fathers before (us)! This is only the tales of the ancients!" 83 Say, [O Muhammad], "To whom belongs the earth and whoever is in it, if you should know?" 84 They will say: Unto Allah. Say: Will ye not then remember? 85 Say: 'Who is the Lord of the seven heavens, and of the Great Throne' 86 They will say, "They belong to God." Say, "So do you not fear Him?" 87 Say: "Who is it in whose hands is the governance of all things,- who protects (all), but is not protected (of any)? (say) if ye know." 88 They will say, "[All belongs] to Allah." Say, "Then how are you deluded?" 89 Nay, but We have brought them the Truth, and lo! they are liars. 90 Never did God take unto Himself any offspring, nor has there ever been any deity side by side with Him: [for, had there been any,] lo! each deity would surely have stood apart [from the others] in whatever it had created, and they would surely have [tried to] overcome one another! Limitless in His glory is God, [far] above anything that men may devise by way of definition, 91 He knows both what is visible and what is not visible. Exalted is Allah above all that they associate with Him. 92
