The Arrangers (Al-Saaffaat)

In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful
By the angels ranged in ranks. 1 and the drivers driving, 2 and the reciters of a Remembrance, 3 Verily your God is One, 4 Lord of the heavens and the earth, and of what between them is Lord of the Easts. 5 We have indeed decked the lower heaven with beauty (in) the stars,- 6 and to preserve against every rebel Satan; 7 They cannot listen to the speech of those on higher elevations and they are targeted from every side. 8 And kept far away. There is perpetual punishment for them, 9 except such as snatches a fragment, and he is pursued by a piercing flame. 10 Then ask them whether they are stronger in creation or those (others) whom We have created. Surely We created them of firm clay. 11 Yet while you are filled with wonder, they just scoff; 12 They pay no attention when they are reminded 13 and, when they see a sign, would scoff; 14 and say: “This is nothing but plain sorcery. 15 What, when we are dead and become dust and bones, shall we be resurrected. 16 What, and our forefathers, the ancients' 17 Say, "You will certainly be brought back to life in disgrace". 18 It will be a single Zajrah [shout (i.e. the second blowing of the Trumpet)], and behold, they will be staring! 19 They will say, "Woe to us! This is the Day of Reckoning." 20 [They will be told], "This is the Day of Judgement which you used to deny." 21

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
