Blessed is He who has established constellations in the sky and made therein a lamp and a shining moon. 61 it is He who has made night and day succeed each other, a sign for those who would take heed and would be grateful. 62 Devotees of Ar-Rahman are those who walk with humility on the earth, and when they are addressed by the ignorant, say: 'Peace;" 63 They are those who spend the night worshipping their Lord, prostrating, and standing, 64 Who say: 'Our Lord, turn from us the punishment of Gehenna, for its punishment is the most terrible; 65 It is indeed an evil halt and an evil abode;" 66 Those who, when they spend, are not extravagant and not niggardly, but hold a just (balance) between those (extremes); 67 And those who invoke not any other ilah (god) along with Allah, nor kill such life as Allah has forbidden, except for just cause, nor commit illegal sexual intercourse and whoever does this shall receive the punishment. 68 Whose punishment will be doubled on the Day of Judgement, and he will live for ever in disgrace, 69 Except one who repents and accepts faith and does good deeds – so Allah will turn their evil deeds into virtues; and Allah is Oft Forgiving, Most Merciful. 70 And whosoever repents and does righteous good deeds, then verily, he repents towards Allah with true repentance. 71 and those who do not bear false witness, and when they pass by idle talk, pass by with honor 72 and who when they are reminded of the verses of their Lord, they do not fall down deaf and blind. 73 And those who say: "Our Lord! Bestow on us from our wives and our offspring who will be the comfort of our eyes, and make us leaders for the Muttaqun" (pious - see V. 2:2 and the footnote of V. 3:164)." 74 They will all receive Paradise as their reward for their forbearance and patience, where they will be greeted with, "Peace be with you." 75 Abiding therein; goodly the abode and the resting-place. 76 Say: "My Lord is not concerned on your account if you do not pray to Him. You have surely done with denying; soon will come the inevitable judgement. 77
