We certainly bestowed Our favor upon Moses and Aaron 114 And saved them and their people from great distress, 115 and succoured them, so that [in the end] it was they who achieved victory. 116 And We gave them the clear Scripture; 117 And We guided them on the straight path. 118 and preserved for them a good name among posterity. 119 Peace be upon Moses and Aaron. 120 Thus indeed do We reward those who do right. 121 For they were two of our believing Servants. 122 Elias too was one of the Envoys; 123 when he said to his people, 'Will you not be godfearing? 124 Do you call on Baal, and abandon the Best of creators? 125 Allah is your Lord and the Lord of your ancestors of yore.” 126 And they denied him, so indeed, they will be brought [for punishment], 127 Except the chosen slaves of Allah. 128 and him We left thus to be remembered among later generations: 129 'Peace be upon El Yaseen' 130 Thus do We reward the good-doers. 131 For he was one of our believing Servants. 132 Verily Lot was one of the apostles, 133 When We delivered him and his followers, all-- 134 except for an old woman who stayed behind, 135 then We destroyed the others, 136 Verily, ye pass by their (sites), by day- 137 And at night. Then will you not use reason? 138
