Say: I am only a warner, and there is no god but Allah, the One, the Subduer (of all): 65 Lord of the heavens and earth and everything between them, the Almighty, the Most Forgiving." 66 Say, "It is great news 67 "From which you turn away! 68 (Tell them): “I had no knowledge of the High Council when they were disputing. 69 had it not been revealed unto me [by God] - to no other end than that I might convey [unto you] a plain warning. 70 When your Lord said to the angels: “Verily I am creating a human being from clay. 71 after I have shaped him and breathed of My spirit (I created) into him, fall down prostrate before him' 72 So the angels prostrated - all of them entirely. 73 save Iblis: he gloried in his arrogance, and [thus] became one of those who deny the truth. 74 He said: O Iblis! what prevented you that you should do obeisance to him whom I created with My two hands? Are you proud or are you of the exalted ones? 75 He (satan) replied: 'I am better than he. You created me from fire, and You created him from clay' 76 (God) said: "Then go hence, ostracised. 77 and My curse shall remain upon you till the Day of Resurrection.” 78 He said, “My Lord! Therefore give me respite till the day when all will be raised.” 79 (God) said: "You have the respite 80 "Till the Day of the Time Appointed." 81 [Iblis (Satan)] said: "By Your Might, then I will surely mislead them all, 82 except those of Your servants, the chosen ones from amongst them.” 83 [And God] said: "This, then, is the truth! And this truth do I state: 84 That I shall fill hell with thee and with such of them as follow thee, together. 85 Say: 'I ask of you no wage for it, neither am I of those who take things upon themselves. 86 “It is not but an advice for the entire world.” 87 “And you will come to know of its tidings, after a while.” 88
