In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful
Ha. Mim. 1 A revelation from the most benevolent, ever-merciful, 2 A Book whose signs have been distinguished as an Arabic Koran for a people having knowledge, 3 good tidings to bear, and warning, but most of them have turned away, and do not give ear. 4 And they say, "Our hearts are within coverings from that to which you invite us, and in our ears is deafness, and between us and you is a partition, so work; indeed, we are working." 5 Say: 'I am only a mortal, like you are. To me it has been revealed that your God is One God; so go straight with Him, and ask for His forgiveness; and woe to the idolaters 6 Those who give not the Zakat and they are disbelievers in the Hereafter. 7 Indeed, those who believe and do righteous deeds - for them is a reward uninterrupted. 8

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
