The tree of Zaqqum 43 The food of the sinner! 44 Like the dregs of all! It shall seethe in the bellies: 45 like the boiling of burning despair. 46 “Seize him, and forcibly drag him right to the blazing fire.” 47 “Then pour on his head the punishment of boiling water.” 48 Taste this, you are a person mighty and noble! 49 This is what you doubted?" 50 Verily the God-fearing shall be in a secure place 51 Amid gardens and watersprings, 52 Wearing [garments of] fine silk and brocade, facing each other. 53 Even so (it will be). And We shall wed them unto fair ones with wide, lovely eyes. 54 There can they call for every kind of fruit in peace and security; 55 Nor will they there taste Death, except the first death; and He will preserve them from the Penalty of the Blazing Fire,- 56 A bounty from thy Lord. That! that is the supreme achievement. 57 Now We have made it easy by thy tongue, that haply they may remember. 58 So wait thou [for what the future will bring]: behold, they, too, are waiting. 59
