Y S (Yaa Seen)
In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
I swear by Ya Sin 1 By the Wise Qur'an, 2 you are truly among the Messengers, 3 On a straight path, 4 with a revelation sent down by the Mighty One, the Merciful, 5 That thou mayest warn a people whose fathers were not warned; so they are negligent. 6 Assuredly the word hath been justified against most of them, wherefore they shall not believe. 7 Indeed, We have put shackles on their necks, and they are to their chins, so they are with heads [kept] aloft. 8 and We have put a barrier before them and a barrier behind them, and have covered them up, so they are unable to see. 9 And it is alike to them whether you warn them or warn them not: they do not believe. 10 You warn only him who follows the advice and fears the Most Gracious without seeing; therefore give him glad tidings of forgiveness and an honourable reward. 11 Surely, it is We who revive the dead and write down what they have forwarded and what they have left behind; We have counted everything in a Clear Book. 12
