He created man and surely know what misdoubts arise in their hearts; for We are closer to him than his jugular vein. 16 When the two receivers receive, sitting on the right and on the left. 17 He uttereth no word but there is with him an observer ready. 18 And the stupor of death will come in truth: "This is what you have been avoiding!" 19 The trumpet will certainly be sounded. This will be the day (about which you) were threatened. 20 And every soul shall come, and with it a driver and a witness. 21 (He will be told), "You were completely heedless of this day. We have removed the veil from your eyes and your vision will now be sharp and strong". 22 And his companion (angel) will say: "Here is (this Record) ready with me!" 23 (And it is said): Do ye twain hurl to hell each rebel ingrate, 24 “The one who excessively prevented from virtue, the transgressor, the doubtful.” 25 who has set up with Allah another god. Indeed, you two, cast him into the terrible punishment' 26 ۞ His companion will say: Our Lord! I did not lead him into inordinacy but he himself was in a great error. 27 He will say: Do not quarrel in My presence, and indeed I gave you the threatening beforehand: 28 The word will not be changed with Me, and never will I be unjust to the servants." 29
