Hast thou considered him who turns his back 33 And he gave a little, then refrained? 34 Is with him the knowledge of the unseen so that he sees? 35 Or hath he not had news of what is in the books of Moses 36 and Abraham, who paid his debt in full? 37 To wit, that a burthened soul shall not bear the burthen of another. 38 And that man will not obtain anything except what he strove for? 39 and that [the fruit of] his striving shall soon be seen; 40 Then he will be recompensed for it with the fullest recompense 41 And that to your Lord is your returning; 42 and that He it is Who causes people to laugh and to cry, 43 And that He it is Who giveth death and giveth life; 44 and that it is He who created pairs, the male and the female, 45 From seed when it is emitted. 46 and on Him depends the life hereafter. 47 and that it is He who gives riches and causes to hoard, 48 that He is the Lord of Sirius, 49 And that He did destroy the Ad of old 50 and Thamud, leaving no trace of them, 51 And before them, the people of Nooh? Indeed they were more unjust and more rebellious than these! 52 He plunged the villages 53 Then covered them with that which covered them. 54 Concerning which then, of the bounties of thy Lord, canst thou dispute? 55 This (Muhammad SAW) is a warner (Messenger) of the (series of) warners (Messengers) of old. 56 The threatened Hour is nigh. 57 none except Allah can disclose it. 58 Do you marvel then at this discourse (the Koran)? 59 And will you laugh and not weep? 60 And ye are behaving proudly. 61 Therefore prostrate for Allah, and worship Him.
