▼ 56 The Inevitable
Al-Waaqe'ah 3 of 3
۞ So I swear by the setting places of the stars. 75 And most surely it is a very great oath if you only knew; 76 Indeed, it is a noble Qur'an 77 in a well-guarded preserved Book, 78 Which (that Book with Allah) none can touch but the purified (i.e. the angels). 79 A Revelation (this Quran) from the Lord of the 'Alamin (mankind, jinns and all that exists). 80 What, do you hold this discourse in disdain, 81 And to give (it) the lie you make your means of subsistence. 82 Why can you not help a soul dying 83 And you wait for the moment (of death), 84 And Our angels are nearer to him than you, but you do not see - 85 why, then, if [you think that] you are not truly dependent [on Us,] 86 why can you not bring it (the soul) back (to life)? 87 Then if he is one of those drawn nigh (to Allah), 88 Then is relief, and flowers – and Gardens of peace. 89 And if one happens to be of those who have attained to righteousness, 90 (For him is the salutation), "Peace be unto thee", from the Companions of the Right Hand. 91 But if he is of the deniers and the errants, 92 then he will be served boiling water, 93 And burning in Hell-Fire. 94 Verily, this! This is an absolute Truth with certainty. 95 Therefore glorify the name of your Lord, the Great. 96
God Almighty has spoken the truth.

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
