▼ 56 The Inevitable
Al-Waaqe'ah 3 of 3
۞ No! I swear by the fallings of the stars 75 And most surely it is a very great oath if you only knew; 76 Most surely it is an honored Quran, 77 preserved in a hidden Book which 78 None shall touch it save the purified ones. 79 a sending down from the Lord of all the Worlds. 80 What, do you hold this discourse in disdain, 81 And instead (of thanking Allah) for the provision He gives you, on the contrary, you deny Him (by disbelief)! 82 Then why, when the soul at death reaches the throat 83 And you are at that time looking on - 84 And Our angels are nearer to him than you, but you do not see - 85 why then, if you are not revived, 86 Can you not bring him back? (Answer) if you are truthful 87 Then, if he is one of the honoured, 88 happiness [awaits him in the life to come,] and inner fulfillment, and a garden of bliss. 89 And if he was of the companions of the right, 90 (he will be greeted with): 'Peace be upon you, Companion of the Right' 91 But if he was of the deniers [who were] astray, 92 Then his reception is the hot boiling water. 93 And roasting in a Blaze. 94 Verily this! this is the very truth. 95 Therefore glorify the name of your Lord, the Great. 96
