He it is who has made the earth easy to live upon: go about, then, in all its regions, and partake the sustenance which He provides: but [always bear in mind that] unto Him you shall be resurrected. 15 Do you feel secure that He, Who is over the heaven (Allah), will not cause the earth to sink with you, then behold it shakes (as in an earthquake)? 16 Or have ye taken security from Him Who is in the heaven that He will not let loose on you a hurricane? But ye shall know the manner of My warning. 17 But indeed men before them rejected (My warning): then how (terrible) was My rejection (of them)? 18 Do they not see the birds above them with wings outspread and [sometimes] folded in? None holds them [aloft] except the Most Merciful. Indeed He is, of all things, Seeing. 19 Or which army do you have that will help you against the Most Gracious? The disbelievers are in nothing except an illusion. 20 Who can provide for you, if He withholds His provision? Yet they obstinately persist in rebellion and avoidance of the truth. 21 What, is he who walks prone upon his face better guided than he who walks upright on a straight path? 22 Say, "It is He who has produced you and made for you hearing and vision and hearts; little are you grateful." 23 Say, "It is He who has scattered you on the earth; and it is to Him that you shall all be gathered [on the Day of Resurrection]. 24 They say, 'When shall this promise come to pass, if you speak truly?' 25 Proclaim, “Surely Allah has its knowledge; and I am only a Herald of plain warning.” 26 So when they will see it close, the faces of the disbelievers will become ghastly, and it will be declared, “This is what you were demanding.” 27 Say (O Muhammad SAW): "Tell me! If Allah destroys me, and those with me, or He bestows His Mercy on us, - who can save the disbelievers from a painful torment?" 28 Say: "He is (Allah) Most Gracious: We have believed in Him, and on Him have we put our trust: So, soon will ye know which (of us) it is that is in manifest error." 29 Say: 'What think you? If in the morning your water should have vanished into the earth, then who would bring you running water?' 30
