Nay; I swear by the moon, 32 Consider the night when it departs, 33 And by oath of the morning, when it spreads light. 34 it is one of the greatest trials, 35 It is a warning for mankind 36 alike to every one of you, who want to go forward or hang back. 37 [On the Day of Judgment,] every human being will be held in pledge for whatever [evil] he has wrought 38 Except those on the right side. 39 Sitting in the gardens, asking 40 concerning the sinners, 41 “What drove you to Hell?” 42 They will answer: “We were not among those who observed Prayer, 43 Nor did we used to feed the poor. 44 We plunged in with the plungers 45 And we used to deny the Day of Judgment, 46 "Until there came to us (the Hour) that is certain." 47 Then there will not profit them intercesion of the interceders. 48 Why then do they turn away from the admonition 49 As though they were asses startled. 50 Fleeing from a lion? 51 Nay, but everyone of them desireth that he should be given open pages (from Allah). 52 Never! In fact they do not fear the Hereafter. 53 Nay, verily. Lo! this is an Admonishment. 54 So whosoever will (let him read it), and receive admonition (from it)! 55 But they will not benefit from it unless Allah Himself so wills. He is worthy to be feared; and He is worthy to forgive (those that fear Him). 56
