Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah)
40 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Shocker (Al-Qaare'ah) before The Backbiter (Al-Hummazah)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
۞ I swear by the Day of Resurrection 1 and by the self-reproaching soul! 2 Does man (a disbeliever) think that We shall not assemble his bones? 3 Yea! We are able to make complete his very fingertips 4 In fact, people want to have eternal life in this world. 5 He questions: "When is the Day of Resurrection?" 6 When the sight is dazed, 7 And the moon darkens 8 And the sun and the moon are brought together, 9 On that day man will cry: Whither to flee! 10 By no means! No place of safety! 11 With your Lord alone will be the retreat on that day. 12 On that Day will man be apprised of his deeds, both the earlier and the later. 13 nay, but man shall against himself be an eye-witness, 14 in spite of all the excuses he may offer. 15 Do not move your tongue with it to make haste with it, 16 Verily upon us is the collecting thereof and the reciting thereof. 17 Wherefore when We recite it, follow thou the reciting thereof. 18 Then indeed, to explain its details to you is upon Us. 19 None except you, O disbelievers you love what you have, the fleeting one. 20 and are heedless of the Everlasting Life. 21 On that Day there shall be radiant faces, 22 and will be looking towards their Lord; 23 and some faces will on that Day be gloomy, 24 believing that a crushing calamity is about to strike them. 25 No indeed; when it reaches the clavicles 26 And it is cried. who can charm? 27 (the angels of mercy or the angels of wrath,)" then, he will realize that it is time to leave this world. 28 and leg is intertwined with leg, 29 To your Lord on that day shall be the driving. 30

Notes and Instructions
When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
