Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
By the emissary winds, (sent) one after another 1 storming tempestuously 2 And [by] the winds that spread [clouds] 3 then the criterion (the verses of Koran), separating 4 and those hurling a reminder 5 To cut off all excuses or to warn; 6 surely, that which you have been promised is about to fall! 7 So when stars are effaced. 8 Heavens will rent asunder. 9 when the mountains shall be scattered 10 and when the messengers are brought together at the appointed time -- 11 to what day shall they be deferred? 12 For the Day of Sorting out. 13 Would that you knew what the Day of Decision is! 14 Woe on that day unto the beliers 15 Did We not destroy the ancients 16 Then caused the latter folk to follow after? 17 This is how We deal with the guilty. 18 Woe, that Day, to the deniers. 19 Did We not create you from contemptible water? 20 then placed it in a secure repository [the womb], 21 Till a limit known? 22 And We determined [it], and excellent [are We] to determine. 23 Woe, on that Day unto those who give the lie to the truth! 24 Did We not make the earth a receptacle, 25 The living and the dead, 26 And made therein lofty mountains, and given you to drink of sweet water? 27 Woe, that Day, to the deniers. 28 GO ON towards that [resurrection] which you were wont to call a lie! 29 Go to the shadow with three ramifications, 30 which neither gives shade nor protects one from the flames. 31 that shoots sparks like dry faggots, 32 As if they were Jimalatun Sufr (yellow camels or bundles of ropes)." 33 Woe on that Day to those who reject the truth! 34 That will be a Day when they shall not speak (during some part of it), 35 Nor will they be given permission to present excuses. 36 Woe unto the repudiators on that day! 37 Such is the Day of Decision. We will gather you with the ancients. 38 If now you have any strategy, use it against Me. 39 Woe on that day to the rejecters. 40
