Al-Naze'aat 2 of 2
(People), is your creation harder for God than that of the heavens, which He created, raised and established 27 He raised it high and leveled it, 28 and darkened its night and brought forth its morning. 29 And after that He spread the earth; 30 He extracted from it its water and its pasture, 31 And the mountains! He established them firm: 32 [all this] as a means of sustenance for you and your animals? 33 But when there comes the greatest Overwhelming Calamity - 34 upon the day when man shall remember what he has striven, 35 And Hell made visible to him who can see, 36 Then, for such as had transgressed all bounds, 37 And chose the life of the world, 38 Lo! hell will be his home. 39 But, whosoever feared the standing before his Lord and prevented the self from desires, 40 Verily the Garden! that shall be his resort. 41 (Muhammad), they ask you, "When will the Hour of Doom come?" 42 (Muhammad), you do not know (when and how) it will come. 43 To your Lord is the goal of it. 44 Thou art only the warner of him who fears it. 45 It will be, on the Day they see it, as though they had not remained [in the world] except for an afternoon or a morning thereof. 46

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
