The Comet (Al-Taareq)
17 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Town (Al-Balad) before The Moon (Al-Qamar)
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
By oath of the heaven, and by oath of the nightly arriver. 1 what do you know what the night-visitor is? 2 It is the piercing star - 3 That over each soul there is a guardian. 4 Let man reflect on what he was created from. 5 He was created from spurting fluid, 6 Issuing from (the pelvis) between the backbone and the ribs. 7 Indeed, Allah, to return him [to life], is Able. 8 on the Day when consciences are examined, 9 Then he shall have no power nor any helper. 10 By oath of the sky from which comes down the rain. 11 by earth splitting with verdure, 12 Behold this is the Word that distinguishes (Good from Evil): 13 it is no merriment. 14 Indeed the disbelievers carry out their evil schemes. 15 And I (too) am planning a plan. 16 Therefore grant a delay to the Unbelievers: Give respite to them gently (for awhile). 17
Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
End of Surah: The Comet (Al-Taareq). Sent down in Mecca after The Town (Al-Balad) before The Moon (Al-Qamar)

قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
