Al-Aadeyaat
The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)
In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate
By the (steeds) that run, with panting (breath), 1 And the producers of sparks [when] striking 2 by the dawnraiders, 3 and blaze a trail of dust, 4 Arriving thereby in the center collectively, 5 Most surely man is ungrateful to his Lord. 6 And lo! he is a witness unto that; 7 Surely, he is ardent in his love of wealth. 8 ۞ Does he not know that when that which is in the graves is overthrown, 9 And there shall be brought to light that which is in the breasts? 10 surely on that day their Lord shall be aware of them! 11
God Almighty has spoken the truth.
