Shattering (Al-Infitaar)
19 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Snatchers (Al-Naze'aat) before The Splitting (Al-Inshiqaaq)
In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
۞ When the heavens are rent asunder, 1 And when the stars shall be scattered, 2 And when the oceans are swept away. 3 and when graves are laid open, 4 everyone shall know all his deeds, both the earlier and the later. 5 O man! what has beguiled you from your Lord, the Gracious one, 6 Who created you, proportioned you, and balanced you? 7 Shaping you into any form He pleased? 8 Even then you deny the Judgement. 9 but you should know that there are angelic guards 10 Illustrious scribes 11 Knowing all what you may do. 12 Indeed, the righteous will be in pleasure, 13 And the Wicked - they will be in the Fire, 14 They shall enter it on the Day of Recompense 15 and from it they shall never be absent. 16 What will make you realize what the Day of Judgement will be? 17 Then, what can make you know what is the Day of Recompense? 18 On that day, no soul will be of any benefit to any other soul. On that day, all affairs will be in the hands of God. 19
God Almighty has spoken the truth.
