The Backbiter (Al-Hummazah)

9 verses, revealed in Mecca after Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah) before Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)

In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

Woe to every backbiter, slanderer 1 Who amasses wealth and hordes it. 2 thinking his riches have made him immortal! 3 No! He will surely be thrown into the Crusher. 4 And what will explain to thee That which Breaks to Pieces? 5 The fire of Allah, that is ablaze. 6 which will rise over the [guilty] hearts: 7 (And) vaults them over 8 In extended columns. 9

God the Almighty always says the truth.
