Charity (Al-Maa'oon)

7 verses, revealed in Mecca after Hoarding (Al-Takaathur) before The Disbelievers (Al-Kaaferoon)

In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

Have you seen the one who calls the religion a lie? 1 Behold, it is this [kind of man] that thrusts the orphan away, 2 and urges not the feeding of the needy. 3 So woe to the praying ones, 4 Who are unmindful of their prayers, 5 who show off (his good deeds) 6 Who are uncharitable even over very small things. 7

True are the words of God the Almighty.
