Charity (Al-Maa'oon)

7 verses, revealed in Mecca after Hoarding (Al-Takaathur) before The Disbelievers (Al-Kaaferoon)

In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful

Have you seen he who belied the Recompense? 1 It is he who turns away the orphan 2 and does not urge others to feed the needy. 3 So woe unto those performers of Salat (prayers) (hypocrites), 4 whose hearts from their prayer are remote 5 Those who do good deeds only to be seen (of men), 6 But refuse (to supply) (even) neighbourly needs. 7

Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
