Thorns (Al-Masad)

5 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Key (Al-Faatehah) before The Rolling (Al-Takweer)

Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

DOOMED are the hands of him of the glowing countence: and doomed is he! 1 No profit to him from all his wealth, and all his gains! 2 He shall soon enter a Blazing Fire, 3 and his wife, laden with firewood 4 A rope made from palm fibre around her neck! 5

True are the words of God the Almighty.
