Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)
In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
By oath of those that are sent, one after the other. (The verses of the Holy Qur’an or the angels or the winds). 1 by (the angels) as swift as blowing winds, 2 And [by] the winds that spread [clouds] 3 Then by those that clearly differentiate the right and wrong. 4 And those [angels] who deliver a message 5 To clear or to warn. 6 Surely, what you are promised must come to pass. 7 So when the stars are extinguished, 8 And when the heaven is opened 9 And when the mountains are made into dust and blown away. 10 And when the Messengers are gathered to their time appointed; 11 For which day were they appointed? 12 For the Day of Decision. 13 And what will make you comprehend what the day of decision is? 14 Woe on that Day to those who belied it! 15 Did We not destroy [so many of] those [sinners] of olden days? 16 and then follow them with the later folk? 17 Thus do We deal with the Mujrimun (polytheists, disbelievers, sinners, criminals, etc.)! 18 Woe on that day unto the beliers! 19 Did We not create you from a humble fluid, 20 which We then let remain in [the womb's] firm keeping 21 Till an appointed term, 22 Thus have We determined [the nature of man's creation]: and excellent indeed is Our power to determine [what is to be]! 23 On that day, woe would be upon those who have rejected the revelations of God! 24 Have We not made the earth a receptacle, 25 Both for the living and the dead, 26 and have We not set on it proud, firm mountains, and given you sweet water to drink? 27 On that Day (of Judgment) woe would be upon those who have rejected God's revelations! 28 (It will be said to the disbelievers): "Depart you to that which you used to deny! 29 “Move towards the shadow of the smoke having three branches.” 30 wherein there is neither shade, nor freeing from the blazing flames 31 "Indeed it throws about sparks (huge) as Forts, 32 as black camels. 33 Alas the woe that day for those who deny! 34 On that Day they will be speechless, 35 Nor shall they be permitted so that they might excuse themselves. 36 Woe on that Day to those who reject the truth! 37 This is the Day of Decision, We have assembled both ye and the ancients. 38 If you have any plans, use them. 39 Woe on that Day to those who belied it! 40
