Allah originates the creation, then reproduces it, then to Him you shall be brought back. 11 And the Day the Hour appears the criminals will be in despair. 12 None of the idols will intercede for them and they will reject their idols. 13 The day the Hour comes they will be separated into categories. 14 Then those who have believed and worked righteous deeds, shall be made happy in a Mead of Delight. 15 but as for those who refused to acknowledge the truth and gave the lie to Our messages - and (thus) to the announcement of a life to come - they will be given over to suffering. 16 Therefore, exalt Allah when you enter the evening and in the morning. 17 and praise be to Him in the heavens and on the earth, and glorify Him in the late afternoon, and at midday. 18 He brings forth the living from the dead and brings forth the dead from the living, and gives life to the earth after its death, and thus shall you be brought forth. 19

When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
