The Shocker (Al-Qaare'ah)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Quraish (Quraish) before Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
The Clatterer! 1 What is the Striking? 2 And what have you understood, what the event that terrifies the hearts is! 3 The day on which men shall be as scattered moths, 4 and the mountains shall be like plucked wool-tufts. 5 And then, he whose weight [of good deeds] is heavy in the balance 6 will live a pleasant life, 7 But as for him whose balance (of good deeds) will be light, 8 His dwelling shall be the Abyss. 9 What shall let you know what the Plunging is? 10 A burning fire. 11
God Almighty has spoken the truth.
