By those [angels] who extract with violence 1 and those that draw out violently, 2 And by those that swim along (i.e. angels or planets in their orbits, etc.). 3 And then they speed with foremost speed. 4 And those who govern the event, 5 A Day shall come whereon the quaking will quake, 6 And the following event will come after it. 7 hearts will be throbbing, 8 Unable to lift their gaze. 9 (Now) they are saying: Shall we really be restored to our first state 10 After having turned to carious bones?" 11 They say: "It would, in that case, be a return with loss!" 12 It will be only one scaring shout, 13 and lo, they will all be in the open plain. 14 HAS THE STORY of Moses ever come within thy ken. 15 How his Lord called him in the holy vale of Tuwa, 16 "Go thou to Pharaoh for he has indeed transgressed all bounds: 17 and say to him: 'Are you willing to be purified, 18 And I will guide you to your Lord so that you should fear. 19 So Moosa showed him a magnificent sign. 20 But (the Pharaoh) disavowed and disobeyed. 21 Then he turned away in a hurry, 22 and gathered his people and declared: 23 Yet to a rich man, 24 you pay attention 25 Surely, in this there is a lesson for he that fears! 26
