The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful
۞ Glorify the name of your Lord, the Most High, 1 who has created and shaped, 2 decreed their destinies, and provided them with guidance. 3 Who brings out the pastures 4 And then makes it dark stubble. 5 WE SHALL teach thee, and thou wilt not forget [aught of what thou art taught,] 6 Except what Allah should will. Indeed, He knows what is declared and what is hidden. 7 And We shall ease thy way unto the state of ease. 8 Therefore, keep on preaching as long as it is of benefit. 9 He who fears [God] will heed the reminder, 10 But the wretched one will avoid it - 11 Who shall enter the great fire; 12 where he will neither die nor live. 13 Prosperous is he who purifies himself, 14 and mentions the Name of his Lord, and prays. 15 But you prefer the life of this world, 16 and the world to come is better, and more enduring. 17 This is what is written in the ancient heavenly Books, 18 The Books of Abraham and Moses. 19
