۞ And We revealed unto Musa saying: go by night with My bondmen verily ye shall be pursued. 52 Then the Pharaoh sent announcers to the cities, 53 [And said], "Indeed, those are but a small band, 54 They are always harassing us. 55 And indeed, we are a cautious society... " 56 So We made them leave their gardens and springs, 57 And treasures and goodly dwellings, 58 As such we gave it to the Children of Israel. 59 Then they followed them at the sunrise; 60 So when the two hosts saw each other, the companions of Musa cried out: Most surely we are being overtaken. 61 He said: By no means; surely my Lord is with me: He will show me a way out. 62 Then We bade Moses strike the sea with his staff. And it parted, and each part was like a huge mountain. 63 Then brought We near the others to that place. 64 We delivered Moses and all who were with him; 65 then We drowned the others. 66 In this [story] behold, there is a message [unto all men,] even though most of them will not believe [in it]. 67 And most surely your Lord is the Mighty, the Merciful. 68
