The Shocker (Al-Qaare'ah)
In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
The (Day) of Noise and Clamour: 1 What is the striking (Hour)? 2 And what will make you know what the striking (Hour) is? 3 The day when men will be like scattered moths. 4 And the mountains will be like carded wool, 5 So for one whose scales prove heavy, 6 He is therefore in the desired bliss. 7 But as for one whose scales are light, 8 A bereft and Hungry One will be his mother, 9 Ah, what will convey unto thee what she is! - 10 It is a blazing fire. 11
