In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful
ALIF LAM MIM. 1 This is the exalted Book (the Qur’an), in which there is no place for doubt; a guidance for the pious. 2 who believe in the Unseen, and perform the prayer, and expend of that We have provided them; 3 And who believe in (the Quran and the Sunnah) which has been sent down (revealed) to you (Muhammad Peace be upon him) and in [the Taurat (Torah) and the Injeel (Gospel), etc.] which were sent down before you and they believe with certainty in the Hereafter. (Resurrection, recompense of their good and bad deeds, Paradise and Hell, etc.). 4 These depend on guidance from their Lord. These are the successful. 5 As for the unbelievers, alike it is to them whether thou hast warned them or hast not warned them, they do not believe. 6 Allah has set a seal on their hearts and on their hearings, (i.e. they are closed from accepting Allah's Guidance), and on their eyes there is a covering. Theirs will be a great torment. 7
