The Snatchers (Al-Naze'aat)
In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful
By the angels who violently tear-out the souls of the disbelievers from their bodies, 1 by the drawers (the angels of death), gently drawing (the souls of the believers), 2 and by those that speedily glide along (the cosmos), 3 Then press forward as in a race, 4 And who plan the implementation. 5 The day on which the quaking one shall quake, 6 And the second followeth it, 7 On that Day some hearts shall tremble (with fright), 8 [and] their eyes downcast... 9 They say: 'What, are we being restored as we were before, 10 even after we are fragmented bones' 11 They said: That then would be a return occasioning loss. 12 But it shall be only a single cry, 13 And lo! they will be awakened. 14 (Muhammad), have you heard the story of Moses 15 His Lord called to him in the Sacred Valley of Towa, 16 Go to Firon, surely he has become inordinate. 17 And say (unto him): Hast thou (will) to grow (in grace)? 18 I shall guide you to your Lord so that you may perhaps have fear of Him". 19 So Moosa showed him a magnificent sign. 20 But he rejected (the truth) and disobeyed. 21 Then he turned his back, striving. 22 then he mustered 23 And he said: I am your Lord, most high. 24 But Allah did punish him, (and made an) example of him, - in the Hereafter, as in this life. 25 Verily, in this is an instructive admonition for whosoever fears Allah. 26
