The Quake (Al-Zalzalah)

8 verses, revealed in Medina after Women (Al-Nesaa) before Iron (Al-Hadeed)

In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

When the earth is shaken with its mighty shaking, 1 And the earth brings forth her burdens, 2 and man cries out, "What has happened to her?" 3 On that Day she will tell out the tidings thereof. 4 For that thy Lord will have given her inspiration. 5 On that Day people will come forward in separate groups to be shown their deeds: 6 And so, he who shall have done an atom's weight of good, shall behold it; 7 And whoso doeth ill an atom's weight will see it then. 8

True are the words of God the Almighty.
