Hoarding (Al-Takaathur)

8 verses, revealed in Mecca after Bounty (Al-Kawthar) before Charity (Al-Maa'oon)

In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate

Rivalry in worldly increase distracteth you 1 till you reached the grave. 2 Lo! presently ye shall know. 3 You shall cetainly know (about the consequences of your deeds). 4 No indeed; did you know with the knowledge of certainty, 5 You will surely end up seeing Hell; 6 Again, you shall surely see it with the sight of certainty. 7 Then, on that Day, you will be called to account for all the bounties you enjoyed. 8

God the Almighty always says the truth.
