Hast thou considered him who turns his back 33 And gave little, and then stopped? 34 Does he have knowledge of the unseen, so he sees? 35 Or has he never yet been told of what was [said] in the revelations of Moses, 36 And of Ibrahim, who was most obedient? 37 That no soul shall bear another's burden, 38 And that there is not for man except that [good] for which he strives 39 That his endeavours will be judged, 40 Thereafter he shall be recompensed therefor with the fullest recompense. 41 and that the final end is unto thy Lord, 42 That it is He who makes you happy and morose, 43 And that it is He Who gave death and gave life? 44 And that He creates the two mates - the male and female - 45 From seed when it is emitted. 46 and that it is for Him to grant the second life, 47 And that it is He who enriches and suffices 48 and that He is the Lord of (the star) Sirius, 49 That it was He who destroyed the 'Ad of old, 50 and Thamud, leaving no trace [of them,] 51 And before them, the people of Noah, for that they were (all) most unjust and most insolent transgressors, 52 It is He who turned upside down the people of Lot 53 and caused them to be covered with that which He covered them with. 54 Then which of the favors of your Lord do you doubt? 55 This is a Warner, of the (series of) Warners of old! 56 The imminent Hour has drawn near, 57 None but God can avert it. 58 Do ye then wonder at this recital? 59 and do you laugh, and do you not weep, 60 Will you occupy yourselves simply in merriment? 61 But fall ye down in prostration to Allah, and adore (Him)! ۩ 62
