Say: 'Travel the land and see what was the fate of those who belied' 11 Say, "To whom belongs all that is in the heavens and earth?" Say, "To God. He has taken it upon Himself to be merciful. That He will gather you on the Day of Resurrection is beyond all doubt. Those who have forfeited their souls will never have faith." 12 ۞ To Him belongs all that dwells in the night and the day. He is the All Hearing and the All Knowing. 13 Say: "Shall I take for my protector any other than Allah, the Maker of the heavens and the earth? And He it is that feedeth but is not fed." Say: "Nay! but I am commanded to be the first of those who bow to Allah (in Islam), and be not thou of the company of those who join gods with Allah." 14 Say thou: I verily fear, if I disobey my Lord, the torment of a Mighty Day. 15 Indeed Allah’s mercy has been upon him, from whom the punishment has been averted on that Day; and this is the clear success. 16 If God sends you harm, there is no one but He who can take it away; and if He bring you good, surely He has power over everything. 17 He is Omnipotent over His servants, and He is the All-wise, the All-aware. Say: 'What thing is greatest in testimony?' 18 Say thou: what thing is the greatest in testimony? Say thou: Allah is Witness between me and you, and this Qur'an hath been revealed unto me that I may thereby warn you and whomsoever it may reach. Would ye indeed testify that there is god together with Allah? Say thou: I testify not. Say thou: verily He is the One God, and I am quit of that which ye associate. 19 Those unto whom We gave the Scripture recognise (this revelation) as they recognise their sons. Those who ruin their own souls will not believe. 20
