Say: "Truly am I a Warner: no god is there but the one Allah, Supreme and Irresistible,- 65 Lord of the heavens and the earth and all that lies between them, all-mighty, all-forgiving." 66 Say thou: it is a tiding mighty. 67 "From which you turn away! 68 I had no knowledge of the Highest Chiefs when they disputed; 69 "Only this has been inspired to me, that I am a plain warner." 70 [For,] lo, thy Sustainer said unto the angels: "Behold, I am about to create a human being out of clay; 71 Then when I have formed him and breathed into him of My spirit, fall down before him prostrate. 72 So the angels prostrated - all of them entirely. 73 Except Iblis. He was filled with pride and turned an unbeliever. 74 The Lord said, "Iblis, what prevented you from prostrating before what I have created with My own hands? Was it because of your pride or are you truly exalted?" 75 Satan replied, "I am better than him. You created me from fire, but You created him from clay." 76 "Begone! You are accursed: 77 and My rejection shall be thy due until the Day of Judgment!" 78 He said, "My Lord, then reprieve me until the Day they are resurrected." 79 He (Allah) said: 'You are among those that are respited 80 till the Day of the known time' 81 He said: Then, by Thy might, I surely will beguile them every one, 82 “Except Your chosen bondmen among them.” 83 (Allah) said: "The Truth is, and the Truth I say, 84 I shall assuredly fill Gehenna with thee, and with whosoever of them follows thee, all together.' 85 SAY [O Prophet]: "No reward whatever do I ask of you for this [message]; and I am not one of those who claim to be what they are not. 86 It is naught but an admonition unto the worlds. 87 “And you will come to know of its tidings, after a while.” 88
