▼ 8 The Spoils of War
Al-Anfaal 8 of 10

And let not those who disbelieve think that they shall come in first; surely they will not escape. 59 Muster against them whatever you are able of force and tethers (ropes) of horses, so that you strike terror into the enemies of Allah and your enemy, and others besides them whom you do not know but Allah does. All that you spend in the Way of Allah shall be repaid to you. You shall not be wronged. 60 ۞ Then if they should be inclined to make peace, make peace with them, and put your trust in God. Surely, it is He who is All Hearing and All Knowing. 61 Should they seek to deceive you, Allah is sufficient for you. It is He who supported you with His victory and with believers, 62 And (moreover) He hath put affection between their hearts: not if thou hadst spent all that is in the earth, couldst thou have produced that affection, but Allah hath done it: for He is Exalted in might, Wise. 63 O Prophet! sufficient unto thou is Allah and those who follow thee of the believers. 64
