And warnings came in truth unto the house of Pharaoh 41 They denied all Our signs, We therefore seized them – the seizure of the Most Honourable, the All Powerful. 42 What, are your unbelievers better than those? Or have you an immunity in the Scrolls? 43 Or do they say: “We are a strong legion, strong enough for victory?” 44 Most certainly their gatherings shall be routed, and they will turn their backs. 45 Nay; the Hour of Doom is their appointed time, and the Hour shall be more calamitous and bitter. 46 Surely the sinners are in error and insanity! 47 On the day when they are dragged upon their faces in the fire – “Taste the heat of hell.” 48 Verily, all things have We created in proportion and measure. 49 And Our Command is but a single (Act),- like the twinkling of an eye. 50 And We have indeed destroyed your kind, so is there one who would ponder? 51 All their deeds are recorded in the Scrolls; 52 and everything [that man does,] be it small or great, is recorded [with God]. 53 Surely the godfearing shall dwell amid gardens and a river 54 Firmly established in the favour of a Mighty King. 55
