It is He Who has endowed you with the faculties of hearing and sight and has given you hearts (to think). Scarcely do you give thanks. 78 And He it is who has caused you to multiply on earth; and unto Him you shall be gathered. 79 It is He who gives you life and death, and His the alternation of night and day. Even then you do not understand, 80 Nay, but they say the like of what the men of old said. 81 They said, "When we have died and become dust and bones, are we indeed to be resurrected? 82 We and our forefathers were promised this before. This is nothing but fables of the ancients." 83 Say O dear Prophet (Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him), “To Whom does the earth and all that is in it belong to, if you know?” 84 They will say, "To Allah." Say, "Then will you not remember?" 85 Say, "Who is Lord of the seven heavens and Lord of the Great Throne?" 86 [And] they will reply: "[All this power belongs] to God." Say: "Will you not, then, remain conscious of Him?" 87 Say: "Whose is the sovereignty over all things, who protects, and against whom there is no protection? {Answer) if you have knowledge." 88 They will surely say: "(The dominion over all things) belongs to Allah." Say: "Whence are you then deluded?" 89 We have brought before them the Truth, and there is no doubt that they are lying. 90 No son (or offspring or children) did Allah beget, nor is there any ilah (god) along with Him; (if there had been many gods), behold, each god would have taken away what he had created, and some would have tried to overcome others! Glorified be Allah above all that they attribute to Him! 91 (He is) the Knower of the Unseen and the Seen, High Exalted be He above that they associate. 92
