Thorns (Al-Masad)

5 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Key (Al-Faatehah) before The Rolling (Al-Takweer)

In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

Perish the hands of Abu Lahab, and perish he! 1 No profit to him from all his wealth, and all his gains! 2 He will be roasted in the fire, 3 His wife shall carry the (crackling) wood - As fuel!- 4 Will have upon her neck a halter of palm-fibre. 5

Almighty God's Truth.
